The third chapter in the *Parasite Eve* saga sees the return of Aya Brea, but she’s traded her NYPD badge for a new role. She’s now an agent with the CTI (Counter Twisted Organization), a specialized unit fighting a sudden outbreak of monstrous creatures known as the “Twisted.”
This installment marks a major shift for the series. It moves into full 3D with fixed environments and an over-the-shoulder camera, giving it a more modern, immersive feel. The biggest gameplay addition is Aya’s new “Overdrive” power. This ability allows her to project her consciousness, temporarily taking control of friendly NPCs on the battlefield. This lets her solve puzzles, access new areas, and strategically overcome enemies by seeing the fight from a whole new perspective.
