Warriors Orochi unites the legendary warriors of Koei’s Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors in an epic, supernatural clash. The malevolent Serpent King, Orochi, has torn through time itself, pulling history’s greatest fighters from China’s Three Kingdoms period and Japan’s Sengoku era into a single chaotic battlefield.
Command a team of three warriors, switching between them on the fly to adapt to the tides of battle. While inactive, your reserved characters gradually recover health. But if your active fighter falls, you’ll have to restart the mission or reload a save. With 79 playable characters—drawn from Dynasty Warriors 5, Samurai Warriors 2, and two original newcomers—every playstyle is represented. Strengthen your heroes using the new Weapon Fusion system, which lets you merge weapons to create increasingly powerful arms.
Four unique story campaigns await: Shu, Wei, Wu, and a dedicated Samurai narrative. Each offers its own unlockable characters, weapons, and lore. Once a stage is cleared in Story Mode, it becomes available in Free Mode, where you can tackle it with any unlocked character. For the first time in the series, two players can join the action together in split-screen co-op, battling side-by-side through Orochi’s demonic legions.
