Thanks to an official Ferrari license, you get to tear up the asphalt in 15 legendary models, from the classic DINO 246 GTS to the then-brand-new Enzo. The heart of the game is the Coast 2 Coast mode, where you’ll blast through 15 sun-drenched tracks across the USA against five AI rivals. But you’re not just racing for first place; you’re also trying to impress your passenger. She’ll challenge you to perform specific feats like a “hard slide around a curve” or a “close takeover.” Pull them off to win her affection.
Beyond that, the game is packed with modes. OutRun Mode is a race against the clock to get your girlfriend to the next checkpoint before time runs out. Time Attack lets you battle your own best time or the “ghost” of the top player on the leaderboards. And OutRun2SP unlocks 15 additional arcade-perfect tracks from the original game.
No matter which mode you play, you earn OutRun miles—the in-game currency used to unlock new Ferraris, performance upgrades, and new music tracks for your custom radio station.
