Brothers in Arms: D-Day marks the series’ debut on the PlayStation Portable (PSP). This tactical first-person shooter, set during World War II, places a strong emphasis on using cover, strategy, and teamwork. The game follows Sergeant Matthew Baker and Corporal Joe Hartsock through the intense battles of the Normandy campaign.
The game remixes content from the first two titles in the series, Road to Hill 30 and Earned in Blood. It features a mix of redesigned levels from those games along with new, exclusive content. Players can now command mortar and bazooka teams, and new abilities have been added for your squadmates. The gameplay heavily focuses on coordinating with your team. To plan your next move, you can use a “birds-eye” view to survey the battlefield and strategically position your squad.
In addition to the main campaign, the game offers multiplayer options. You can play through 12 skirmish missions or four different cooperative game modes with friends via Wi-Fi Ad Hoc.
