FIFA Soccer was the first official FIFA title released for the PlayStation Portable (PSP). The game included over 350 teams and many famous players from that era. You could also create your own custom player.
The game offered several modes, including a full season where you could compete in 26 different leagues. You could also create your own league with up to 20 clubs. For quick matches, there were options for wireless head-to-head play and exhibition games.
In the Challenge Mode, you could relive or change major events from the 2004 soccer season. Completing these challenges rewarded you with unlockable content, such as new balls, alternate jerseys, and even the famous referee Pierluigi Collina.
The game’s soundtrack featured 35 songs from artists like Air, Debi Nova, New Order, and Morrissey. John Motson and Ally McCoist provided the commentary.
