In Jackass: The Game, you join the infamous crew to help them film their new season. When their only cameraman gets hurt, you step in to capture all the chaotic stunts. Play as your favorite characters, including Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Ryan Dunn, and Chris Pontius, as you take on various challenges to earn money, complete episodes, and collect footage for the show.

Gameplay

To earn money in the game, you can complete specific tasks or, in true Jackass fashion, intentionally hurt yourself. The more injuries you sustain, the more cash you get. Once you’ve earned enough money, the episode ends, and you can move on to the next one. As you complete episodes, you’ll unlock more characters. Wee-Man even has his own special mini-games called “Wee-Games,” which include challenges like “Rooftop Cart Stop” and “Poo Shower.”

After completing a stunt in MTV Story mode, you can replay it in Challenge mode with new objectives. Succeeding in these challenges earns you more money to spend at the “Jackass-Mart,” where you can unlock new costumes, props, additional playable characters, and classic clips from the TV show.

The game also features a multiplayer mode. On the PS2, you can compete in a round-robin tournament with up to four players, while the PSP version supports multiplayer over Wi-Fi. The injury system is over-the-top, with everything from a simple turf burn to a broken neck.

Platform Differences

The PSP version allows you to edit and export your replays. The PS2 version has more advanced features, such as the ability to interact with and annoy passersby during your stunts. It also has an expanded “Bail-Out” feature, where you score points based on how many injuries your character gets.
