Bubble Bobble Evolution brings the classic gameplay of Bubble Bobble to the PSP with a new twist. This time, the two dinosaur heroes, Bub and Bob, have been kidnapped and trapped in separate towers. They must work together, solving puzzles and learning new skills to escape.
The game introduces new mechanics, like the ability to blow not only regular bubbles but also rectangular bubbles that can be used to navigate the 3D environments. While the game features a new, modernized soundtrack, it also includes a bass-heavy remix of the original, iconic Bubble Bobble theme.
