Step into the battle between Aliens and Predators in this thrilling action-packed PSP experience.
Based on the movie of the same name, Aliens Vs. Predator: Requiem is a video game that continues the epic crossover between the Alien and Predator franchises. The story picks up right after the first movie. A group of Predators on their way home accidentally brings along a new, powerful alien creature. Their ship crashes on Earth, releasing this hybrid monster that combines the abilities of both species.
The crash site is discovered by a father and son, who are soon infected by facehuggers. This allows the aliens to begin their invasion on Earth. A single Predator warrior, a scout, is sent to Earth to clean up the mess and eliminate any traces of the alien species.
Gameplay and Features
In the game, you take on the role of the Predator, playing from a third-person perspective. Your main objective is to hunt and destroy all aliens. While the aliens are your primary enemies, humans will also attack you if you’re not careful.
The Predator has a number of unique abilities. One of the most useful is a cloaking device that makes you almost invisible. Be mindful that using this cloak drains energy, so you’ll need to turn it off to recharge. If you get wet, the cloak will automatically turn off.
To help you navigate and find enemies, the Predator has three different vision modes:
- Tech vision to see technology and objects.
 - Thermal vision to see living things by their heat.
 - Alien vision to see aliens.

You can also lock on to enemies to make it easier to track them as they move.
Controls and Weapons
You can control your character’s movement with the analog stick and the camera with the shoulder buttons. The Predator has several weapons at their disposal. In addition to basic wrist blades, you can use:
- A shoulder cannon
 - A hand cannon
 - A throwable disc

Before each mission, you can choose your weapons, and you can unlock better ones by completing missions. You can also zoom in for a closer, first-person view and tag aliens to earn “honor points.” These points are used to upgrade your weapons and are also given for not harming any humans.
The Predator is highly mobile. You can jump, climb, and break through walls. If an alien pins you down, you can shake them off. To advance in the game, you will often need to destroy a certain number of things to clear the way. The game features multiple paths through the story, so you can explore different environments. A map is always available to show you your surroundings, enemies, and goals.
Besides the main story, there is a two-player skirmish mode where you can fight with a friend.
