Bakugan: Defenders of the Core is a real-time action game that allows you to control giant Bakugan in massive battles. The game’s story is an action-adventure where you must defend the world’s cities from the evil Spectra and his Vexos army.

Gameplay and Features

The gameplay is a mix of fighting and stealth. You’ll take on the role of a Battle Brawler, who is tasked with stopping the Vexos from destroying the Earth’s Core. This involves two main parts:

• Stealth Sections: You must navigate through levels, using tools like infrared goggles to avoid detection and get past security systems.
• Fighting: The combat is real-time, putting you in control of skyscraper-sized Bakugan in large, destructible environments. You can use a variety of moves, upgrades, and Ability Cards to defeat your opponents.

You can create and customize your own Bakugan Brawler to join forces with Dan and the other main characters. The game features over 60 characters and 20 Bakugan, each with their own unique abilities.

Multiplayer

The game includes multiplayer modes that vary by platform. On consoles, you can play in split-screen multiplayer with three different game modes. On the PSP and Nintendo DS, you can play wirelessly with friends. The DS version also has a unique “DS Download Play” feature, which lets you play with others even if they don’t have a copy of the game.
