Dynasty Warriors (PSP): 3D Combat on the Go

The first fully 3D Dynasty Warriors game for the PSP lets you step onto the battlefield as an officer in one of the Chinese armies (Wei, Wu, or Shu). You’ll fight through huge conflicts, taking on thousands of enemies in either the Musou campaign mode or the Free single-player mode.

Gameplay and Features

Each mission is made up of a map with multiple connected areas. You choose a location to move to, and if there are enemies there, a smaller-scale Dynasty Warriors battlefield loads up. To “liberate” an area, you have to defeat all the enemy forces within it. When you control a location, you get helpful bonuses, like supplies that add more time to complete the stage. As you defeat enemies, your character earns experience points and levels up, becoming stronger.

This PSP version also introduces a new bodyguard system. You can choose a second officer to join you, and they can provide special support. For example, some bodyguards will make sure you always have a horse when you enter a new area, while others can give you powerful Musou attacks to use in battle.
