Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection brings together three full experiences in one package: the original Final Fantasy IV, its direct sequel Final Fantasy IV: The After Years, and an all-new bridging chapter titled Final Fantasy IV – Interlude, which is set one year after the main story.

This edition features a complete visual and audio overhaul, with higher-resolution graphics, remastered soundtracks, and computer-generated cutscenes—including those from the DS remake and new sequences created specifically for The After Years. A dedicated gallery mode is also included for viewing concept art and CG movies.

The version of The After Years found here includes new exclusive enemies in each tale’s Challenge Dungeon, as well as an ultimate super boss—Lost Babil—which becomes available after finishing the game. Defeating this boss requires assembling three full parties and surviving a demanding three-stage battle.
