Based on the film’s events, this action game puts you in the role of Johnny Blaze, a stunt performer who bound his soul to the demon Mephisto to become the supernatural Ghost Rider. When renegade demons break loose from hell, Mephisto tasks you with hunting them down—and the stakes couldn’t be higher. Should you fail, your girlfriend will be condemned to eternal torment.
Armed with blazing hellfire chains, Ghost Rider battles in fast-paced, combo-driven combat reminiscent of God of War. Building your Wrath Meter through skillful attacks and evasions lets you harvest more souls from fallen enemies. These souls are essential—they allow you to unlock powerful new abilities, additional characters, and other upgrades. Certain shielded foes can only be damaged once your Wrath reaches a certain level. A separate Spirit Gauge fills during combat and enables special attacks like a devastating hellfire shotgun.
In addition to the intense combat, the game features thrilling Hellcycle stages. Here, you race through dynamic environments, using mounted weapons to tear through enemies and obstacles. This version also introduces a challenge mode centered on the Hellcycle, featuring tense rule variations like Elimination and Survival—where your health constantly dwindles and can only be restored by hitting checkpoints.
