LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues expands on the LEGO-themed adventures of the famous archeologist, Indiana Jones. Available on PC, Xbox 360, and other platforms, this installment retells the stories of the first three movies while also including content from the latest film, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
Plot and Features
The game revists the original trilogy with new missions that explore events that were not fully shown on screen, like the famous Shanghai chase from the second movie. Indiana Jones himself has been updated with new animations and a more versatile whip, which he can now use to pull enemies in for a wrestling throw.
The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull storyline introduces players to new characters like Mutt Williams. You’ll engage in high-speed pursuits on his motorcycle and experience the power of the legendary crystal skull.
Gameplay
This game features more sophisticated graphics and more interactive elements than its predecessor. You can now take control of various vehicles, including mining carts and planes, and use a wide range of objects as weapons, from pistols and swords to bottles and furniture.
A signature feature of the series, the ability to swap between characters, is present in both Story and Free Play modes. You can instantly switch between heroes or have a teammate assist you in completing a level. The game also includes a level editor, allowing you to create and share your own levels. As you play, you can unlock over 60 playable characters, including fan favorites like Marion Ravenwood, Short Round, and Dr. Henry Jones Sr.
