NBA Street Showdown brings the high-flying, three-on-three arcade basketball action of the NBA Street series to the PlayStation Portable. As the first portable entry in the franchise, it combines mechanics from Vol. 2 and Vol. 3 while introducing exclusive modes tailored for on-the-go play.
The heart of the game is King of the Courts, where you create your own baller and form a squad to compete across 11 distinct street courts, each controlled by a boss character. Your goal is to defeat these bosses in tournament-style matches to claim their court, unlock new locations, and even recruit players from beaten teams.
When you’re short on time, two mini-games offer quick and engaging distractions:

Shot Blocker: Stand alone on defense against a series of shooters. Block shots to earn points—more when you’re close to the shooter, fewer near the hoop. String together blocks to multiply your score, and watch for “money balls” that grant bonus points when swatted.

Arcade Shootout: Race against the clock to sink as many baskets as possible. Each level features unique arrangements of hoops—some moving, some offering extra points—with bonuses for making multiple baskets with a single shot.
