Long ago, the Patapon tribe was a mighty civilization led by their deity, the Almighty. Guided by his rhythm, they marched across the world in search of the legendary Earthend, conquering every foe and claiming every treasure in their path. But those glorious days have faded into myth. Now, the Patapons are a shadow of their former selves—scattered, weakened, and without direction. It’s up to you to become their new god and lead them back to their former glory.
*Patapon* is a truly unique blend of rhythm and strategy. You play as “the Almighty,” the divine drummer guiding your loyal Patapons. By combining the four face buttons (Circle, X, Square, Triangle) in specific four-beat sequences, you issue commands—to advance, attack, retreat, or defend. Your army moves and acts only to the beat of your drum.
Keep your rhythm flawless, and you’ll send your troops into “Fever” mode, supercharging their abilities and making them unstoppable. Between battles, you’ll gather resources like wood, meat, and “Ka-ching” currency to craft new units, weapons, and armor at the Tree of Life. Carefully outfitting your army before each mission is key to overcoming the increasingly tough challenges on your journey to Earthend.
