After his long and perilous journey, the Prince finally returns to Babylon with his new bride, Kaileena, the Empress of Time. But their hope for a peaceful future is shattered the moment they arrive. The kingdom of Persia lies in ruins, ravaged by war. In a brutal turn, the evil Vizier captures and kills Kaileena. Her death unleashes the Sands of Time once more, granting the Vizier unimaginable power.
Forced to fight again, the Prince discovers that his exposure to the Sands has changed him—literally. It has given birth to a dangerous alter ego: the Dark Prince. Now, as he battles to save his kingdom from a madman, he must also fight a civil war within himself, struggling to prevent the Dark Prince from consuming his very soul.
The gameplay will feel familiar to fans of The Sands of Time and Warrior Within, blending fluid combat with environmental puzzles. The big new addition is the Dark Prince himself, who takes over at key moments, granting access to brutal new combos and a unique chain weapon. A new “Speed Kill” mechanic also allows for silent, instant takedowns from the shadows, making stealth a valuable tool.
