This criminal organization holds the diplomats for ransom, and it’s your job to plan and execute increasingly complex rescue operations across nine non-linear missions.
Gameplay departs from traditional SOCOM entries by emphasizing real-time tactics over direct shooting. You command a four-man squad using an intuitive drag-and-drop interface: position a locator box to set movement paths, ambush points, defensive covers, or crossfire zones. Context-sensitive commands let you order specific actions—like using sniper support, throwing grenades (a dynamic arc shows the throw trajectory), planting explosives, or engaging in close-quarters combat.
Each mission supports multiple approaches, and two instant-action variants per stage encourage replayability. The narrative unfolds through pre-rendered cutscenes, lending cinematic weight to your strategic decisions.
