The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky

In the latest installment of the Legend of Heroes series, you control two heroes: Estelle Bright and her adoptive brother, Joshua. The two are “bracers”—members of a guild that helps protect the public by taking on various jobs, from monster hunting to solving mysteries.

When their father, a legendary bracer, leaves on a mission, Estelle and Joshua are left to handle things on their own. What begins as a series of simple tasks quickly turns into a much larger conspiracy.

Gameplay and Features

This is a traditional Japanese-style RPG, but it was originally released on PC. Combat is turn-based, and you can move your characters around the battlefield. Your party can perform different actions:

• Arts: These are special attacks, similar to magic.
• Crafts: These are unique, powerful moves, like “limit breaks” in other RPGs.

The game has a main story as well as many optional side missions. Completing these jobs not only helps the citizens but also helps you rise through the ranks of the bracer guild.
