Warhammer 40000: Squad Command is a turn-based tactical RPG set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe. The game’s single-player campaign follows a squad of six elite Ultramarine Space Marines as they fight against the forces of Chaos over 15 missions on the planet Ruhr III. The game’s setting is one of “pure, unadulterated war,” with a simple story about the forces of the Imperium battling the Word Bearers Legion.

Gameplay and Customization

The core of the gameplay revolves around Action Points (AP). At the start of each turn, each of your units is given a set number of AP to spend. You use these points to move your units, fire at enemies, or improve your accuracy by spending more time aiming.

Before each mission, you can customize your squad members by choosing from over 20 different ranged and melee weapons. The game also features destructible environments, allowing you to blast through cover to hit enemies.

Multiplayer

The game includes a multiplayer mode with three different options:

• Local Wireless: You can play with up to eight players using a local wireless connection.
• Global Wi-Fi: You can play with up to eight players globally over Wi-Fi.
• Versus Download Play: In this mode, players can use a single game card to play against each other.
