A1 Racing: A Simple Take on the Genre

Racing is a straightforward racing game for the PlayStation. As the title suggests, it focuses on the core elements of the racing genre without a lot of extra features.

Gameplay and Features

The game includes a few different options for players:

• Courses: You can choose from a short course, a long course, or a mirrored version of the long course.
• Cars: There are six different cars to choose from, each with its own characteristics.
• Settings: Before a race, you can customize your experience by choosing between automatic or manual transmission. You can also choose between a drift or grip setting, which affects how your car handles on the track.
• Opponents: In a race, you’ll compete against three computer-controlled opponents.

The main goal is to get the fastest lap times and the fastest total race time. Your best times can be saved to a leaderboard. The game also includes a short tutorial to teach you the basics of racing, including the controls and some key techniques.
