Jackie Chan Stuntmaster is a beat ’em up action-adventure game released in 2000 for the PlayStation. Developed by Radical Entertainment and published by Midway Games in North America, the game is inspired by the legendary martial artist and actor Jackie Chan. The game’s plot is simple: Jackie’s grandfather has been kidnapped by a mysterious group of thugs, and Jackie must fight his way through New York City to rescue him.

Gameplay and Levels

The game combines martial arts combat with platforming. You’ll navigate through 15 levels set in various locations around the city, including docks, rooftops, sewers, and factories. At the end of each level, you will face a boss that you must defeat to progress.

• Combat: Jackie can use a variety of martial arts moves to defeat enemies, including punches, kicks, and environmental attacks.
• Environmental Interaction: One of the game’s key features is its emphasis on environmental combat. You can use objects in the environment, like chairs, brooms, and other items, as weapons.
• Special Moves: As you defeat enemies, they will drop blue orbs. Collecting a certain number of these orbs will allow you to use a special, powerful move that can clear all enemies in your path. When you lose a life, you will lose all of the orbs you’ve collected.
• Health and Items: Enemies can cause damage, and your health is tracked by a red bar. You can restore your health by collecting items like bowls of rice.
• Saving: You can save your progress after completing each level.
