Legendary skate promoter The Birdman has rolled into your city, and he’s on a mission to find the eight best skaters for his elite new team, “Project 8.” Your goal is to prove you belong. Starting at a humble rank of #200, you’ll need to climb the leaderboard by tearing up streets, finding challenges, and impressing scouts across a massive open-world city. The journey to join the top eight is entirely in your hands.
The city itself is your skate park, filled with opportunities to advance. Spray-painted targets on the ground mark specific objectives—grind a certain distance, nail a perfect manual, or pull off a dizzying number of Natas spins. You can also pick up missions from locals or simply wow bystanders with your skills to earn “Stokens,” the in-game currency used to buy new boards, clothing, tricks, and gear.
A groundbreaking new feature, “Nail the Trick,” lets you slow down time and use the analog sticks to control each foot independently, linking together technical flip tricks for huge combo multipliers. For fans of the classics, the game also brings back the beloved Classic Mode from earlier Tony Hawk titles.
The PSP version packs in even more content, including 8 remastered classic levels like The Mall and Alcatraz, plus 14 unique multiplayer modes for on-the-go competition.
