LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues

LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues is a game for PC, Xbox 360, and other platforms that takes players through all four Indiana Jones films, including the newest one, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Plot and Changes

The game retells the stories of the first three movies with new levels and a different focus on scenes that didn’t get as much screen time in the first LEGO Indiana Jones game, such as the famous Shanghai chase. The game also changes Indiana Jones himself, giving him new animations and a more useful whip that can pull in enemies and perform a wrestling throw.

The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull story lets you play as Mutt Williams in high-speed motorcycle chases and witness the power of the crystal skull.

Mechanics and Features

The game features more advanced graphics and more interactive objects in the environment. Characters can now use various vehicles like mining carts and airplanes. Combat is also more open, as you can pick up and use a wide range of items as weapons, from pistols and swords to bottles and furniture.

The series’ signature feature of being able to swap characters is present in both Story Mode and Free Play. The game also features a new split-screen system for co-op multiplayer that seamlessly splits the screen when players move apart and merges it back when they’re close together.

A major new feature is the level editor, which lets you create your own levels and share them with other players. You can unlock over 60 playable characters from the films, including Marion Ravenwood, Short Round, Willie Scott, Marcus Brody, Rene Belloq, Dr. Henry Jones Sr., and Irina Spalko.
