Marvel Super Hero Squad is a beat-’em-up action game based on the animated TV series. Designed for up to four players, it’s set in Super Hero City, where the Super Hero Squad must stop the evil Dr. Doom and his Lethal Legion.
The main goal is to find the Infinity Fractals, which are fragments of the legendary Infinity Sword. Each fractal gives its owner amazing power. Dr. Doom is searching for them, and it’s up to the Super Hero Squad to find them first and save the city.
Gameplay Modes
The game features two main modes, offering different ways to play:
- Adventure Mode: This mode is for two players and follows the game’s story. You’ll complete six campaigns to collect the Infinity Fractals and unlock new powers.
- You can play as one of six heroes: Hulk, Falcon, Iron Man, Thor, Silver Surfer, or Wolverine.
- It’s a cooperative mode, meaning you and a friend must work together.
- As you progress, you can unlock new characters like Spider-Man and Doctor Doom, as well as new outfits and arenas.
- Battle Mode: This mode is for up to four players and is all about head-to-head combat.
- You can choose to play as either a hero or a villain.
- There are over 20 different characters to choose from, including some from the X-Men, Fantastic Four, and Avengers.
- You can create and use your own unique combo attacks to defeat your opponents.
