Half-Life: Decay
The most significant new addition to the PS2 port is an exclusive co-op expansion pack called Half-Life: Decay.
- Co-op Gameplay: The primary focus of Decay is two-player cooperative gameplay. You and a friend take on the roles of two new characters, female scientists Gina Cross and Colette Green, as they work to survive and escape the Black Mesa Research Facility.
- Solo Mode: The game can also be played by a single player, but you must switch between controlling both characters to solve puzzles and complete missions.
- Mission Structure: Unlike the continuous narrative of the main game, Decay is made up of separate missions that are graded based on your performance. The goal is to use teamwork to complete objectives and rescue NPCs while fending off enemies.
