Lara Croft Tomb Raider: Anniversary is a 2007 remake of the original 1996 game, Tomb Raider. It revitalizes the classic adventure with modern mechanics and enhanced graphics, while retaining the core plot of Lara’s quest for the Scion of Atlantis.
Key Features and Changes
- Enhanced Graphics and Design: The game features better graphics and an expanded version of the original content. While the basic plot remains the same, the design of some locations has been changed.
- Platforming and Exploration: The gameplay places a heavy focus on action and acrobatics, with players having to jump and shimmy extensively to traverse the environment. Certain puzzles deemed “unsuitable” for the new action-focused design were removed or simplified.
