Plot and Characters
- Story: Set one year after Episode II. Protagonist Shion Uzuki resigns from Vector Corporation after discovering a link between the organization and the catastrophic Gnosis event. She embarks on an independent investigation.
- New Character: The KOS-MOS project is terminated, and a new, unknown android named T-elos appears to take her place.
- Goal: Shion and her allies are preparing for the decisive conflict of all time to determine the fate of humanity.
Gameplay and Features
- Battle System: The fundamentals carry over from previous episodes, but the structure is closer to the first game.
- Combat Modes: Features two modes of conflict: fighting in human form and piloting enormous robots (Gears).
